Debut of InfiMotion Technology's Novel Matrix System at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show

News 2025/05/01

The 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (2025 Shanghai Auto Show) Commences.

InfiMotion Technology, a prominent entity in the electric drive industrial value chain, presented its serial production milestones and advanced technological portfolio at the exhibition. The showcase comprehensively underscored the company's robust technical capabilities, spanning core componentry to integrated systems.

At this exhibition, InfiMotion Technology is showcasing its comprehensive technical portfolio, emphasizing a dual-pronged strategy of "mass production and future-oriented innovation." The company is presenting its full-chain technology architecture in electric drive systems, spanning from core component design and manufacturing to complete system integration. This encompasses both pure electric and hybrid platforms, supporting voltage ranges from 400V to 800V, and addressing applications from A0-class vehicles to high-performance automobiles. InfiMotion Technology is delivering a complete and scalable solution for the evolving landscape of new energy vehicle mobility.

Adhering to an agile development philosophy, InfiMotion Technology is globally premiering a suite of novel products at this event. These forward-thinking technological advancements have garnered significant attention from numerous industry experts and prominent media outlets.

The proprietary dual-motor distributed drive system incorporates an advanced ultra-high integration architecture and an industry-first magnesium-aluminum alloy housing, achieving a 25% reduction in component weight and a greater than 10% decrease in total assembly mass compared to prevalent industry standards. The system's patented 360° bidirectional full-oil cooling technology provides robust thermal management, enabling consistent vehicle acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds for over 20 consecutive cycles without performance degradation. Optimized motor design and sophisticated control algorithms yield a peak overall efficiency of 89.5%, directly contributing to enhanced vehicle range. The system's dynamic maneuverability includes a high-performance rotational capability.

The adjustable magnetic field motor incorporates an innovative structural architecture integrating auxiliary electric excitation windings. This design synergistically combines the magnetic field capabilities inherent in electrically excited synchronous motors with the high operational efficiency characteristic of permanent magnet motors. Consequently, no-load drag losses are significantly mitigated, exhibiting a 1.5% reduction under peak power conditions compared to conventional permanent magnet synchronous motors. This optimization effectively enhances overall vehicle electrical energy consumption, yielding a substantial improvement in the driving range of electric vehicles.

InfiMotion Technology has introduced an XCM product tailored for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), offering compatibility across various hybrid Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) systems. This product features a unified enclosure design, tightly integrating BOOST circuitry, platform-agnostic structural elements, and core electronic components. Enhanced cost-effectiveness is achieved through an innovative design that leverages a shared housing for the PCM and ODP. Furthermore, the OD module is integrated within the main controller casing, and VCU and TMS functionalities are consolidated, delivering a more efficient and economical electrical control solution for hybrid vehicles via a modular and highly compatible technical architecture.

Based on stator topological optimization, the elimination of terminal weld points and reduction of end winding height yield significant improvements in motor efficiency and axial space utilization. Furthermore, the implementation of a closed slot stator design effectively mitigates torque ripple, substantially enhancing Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) characteristics. Notably, this technology is compatible with the InfiMotion proprietary all-domain ultra-hybrid cross oil cooling system, which efficiently dissipates heat from the winding end turns without the requirement of an oil ring, thereby addressing motor temperature rise concerns. This integrated approach provides a more compact, acoustically optimized, and reliable solution for electric powertrain systems.

Leveraging innovation as a core driver and the automotive industry as its fundamental base, InfiMotion Technology consistently spearheads technological advancements in electric propulsion systems for new energy vehicles. This exhibition serves as a platform for collaborative exploration of emerging trends in electric drive technology with industry counterparts. We aim to collectively forge a more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable ecosystem for new energy vehicles, thereby propelling the evolution of electric mobility.

The Shanghai Auto Show concludes on May 2nd. We extend a cordial invitation to all industry professionals to visit our exhibit located at Hall 6.2H, Booth 6B15 within the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
