Infinite Motion For The Future
From May 26 to 27, 2026, the Seminar on Key Technologies of Amorphous Motors and Group Standards Promotion Conference was held in Loudi, Hunan Province.
As a major initiator of the group standard Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Amorphous Drive Motors for Electric Vehicles, InfiMotion was invited to attend the conference. Yu Haisheng, CTO of InfiMotion and Deputy Director of the Alliance E Drive System Working Group, participated in and chaired the interpretation of five industry standards, helping stakeholders reach consensus on key technical requirements.
Leading Standard Development, Building an Industry Ecosystem
In the wave of amorphous motor innovation, InfiMotion is not just a participant. Back in June 2025, the “Launch Meeting for Two Amorphous Motor Group Standards and Key Technology Seminar” was hosted at InfiMotion.
One year later, innovative achievements in amorphous drive motor technology are rapidly emerging. The standards promoted at this conference cover the entire industrial chain, including materials, bonded strips, self bonded cores, and drive motors. Discussions were also held on the proposed standard Technical Specification for Magnetic Rings Used in Suppressing Bearing Electrical Corrosion in E Drive Motors.
The commercialization window for amorphous drive motors is opening rapidly. Alongside ongoing standardization efforts, InfiMotion has also launched the development of its next generation amorphous motor platform.
Advancing Industry Collaboration Through Standards
At the conference, He Huhuan, E Drive System Development Expert at InfiMotion, presented and interpreted the group standard Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Amorphous Drive Motors for Electric Vehicles.
Yu Haisheng noted that, as China’s first group standard for amorphous drive motors, the standard raises efficiency and high efficiency operating zone requirements beyond existing national standards, while also introducing dedicated tests for stator clamping force and thermal stability to meet vehicle level safety and performance demands.
Drawing on extensive experience in the design, manufacturing, and testing of amorphous drive motors, InfiMotion incorporated real world data and engineering specifications into the standard framework, helping fill the gap in evaluation criteria for amorphous drive motor products.
New Materials Empower Future Mobility
Focusing on practical vehicle applications, InfiMotion EMC expert Li Jingkai delivered a technical presentation on EMC challenges in 800V and higher voltage e drive systems, introducing system level solutions for next generation electric vehicles.
He emphasized that EMC issues should be addressed through an integrated approach covering source optimization, transmission path suppression, filtering and shielding, and system level collaborative design to ensure full vehicle electromagnetic compatibility compliance.
Looking ahead, Li predicted that future technologies will evolve toward greater integration, intelligence, and advanced material applications. The adoption of new materials such as amorphous alloys, together with upgraded simulation and testing technologies, will provide stronger design and validation capabilities for the industry.
During the conference, representatives from InfiMotion also participated in closed door discussions for the Industrial Technology Development Report on EV Amorphous Drive Motors. Leveraging its expertise in material application development and standards research, InfiMotion contributed technical insights and recommendations, and co authored Chapter 4 of the report together with GAC Group.
Through continuous investment in technology R&D, mass production, standard development, and manufacturing capacity, InfiMotion is steadily driving amorphous drive motors from laboratory validation toward large scale commercial application, accelerating its position in the next generation e drive materials landscape.
